News for the Week!
Dear Parents,
Thank you for coming to our English Open House! We hope you enjoyed seeing how far the
students have come since the first Parents Day.
Thank you also to the parents who came to the meeting afterwards. We really enjoyed
talking to you and we hope you feel comfortable enough to come to us with ANY question
at ANY time.
Because of Open House this week, we havent had time to correct the journals. We
have given them back to the children but no corrections have been made.
There will be no spelling homework sheet this week but we WILL be having a test on
Friday. This test will be made up of Surprise Words. As usual, the children will listen to
the word and write ONLY the 1
st
letter of the word. There will be 26 words on this test-
one for every letter of the alphabet.
Please have the children bring along a baby photo on Monday for our science class next
week. This can be an actual photo or a print out of a photo.
