for Mechanical and Automotive Engineering

Academic admission criteria
Applicants must have successfully completed one of the following: German Diplom; Bachlor of Technology;
Bachelor of Engineering; Bachelor of Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Application period
1 October - 31 March
Program begin
September of each year
Program duration
3 semesters
Core modules
The core modules of the program include lectures on advanced strength of materials, materials
technology, dynamic systems, design for manufacturing, aero and fluid dynamics plus several
complementary subjects.
Credits
30 credits per semester: 90 credits total
Mode of study
Full time (two semesters at the University of Applied Sciences, the third semester in industry)
Place of study
DDM students are mainly in the Esslingen City campus

Study fees
Students are required to pay an enrolment fee of 118,- euros per semester. There are no other study
