Jesus, shepherds and animals.
For Christmas people decorate their homes with garlands,
brightred flowers called poinsettias, holly wreaths and
mistletoe. Butthe mostpopular symbolof the season is
the Christmas tree, decorated with lights, colourful
Ornaments and a star or an angelon top.
Poster 2 offers diverse materials to work on the
days before Christmas: two thematic pictures to

whole class activities, in which students mustfind
the differences between two Christmas trees.
Let's fi nd the di fferences!

Laminate and cutoutboth pictures, and hang them on two
opposite classroom walls.
Divide the students into two groups and tellthem to look at
their corresponding picture and memorise allthe elements on
it.
After five minutes, remove the pictures and ask the
students to sitwith a studentfrom the other group.
Before interacting, each studentshould listallthe
elements they recallfrom their picture.
Sitting opposite each other, they read their listin
turns while the other studentticks the
mentioned elements.
Finally, they compare both lists and find out
whatis differentbetween the pictures.
