Instructions for Creating a Parent Account for Single Sign On

(Please use these instructions on September 17,

2012 or later)


1. Open an internet browser on your computer.

2. Direct your browser to https://sis.ccs.k12.va.us











3. Click the Create Account button.


4. Enter all of the requested information

Parents Information goes here
in the upper section. You must
provide an email address.
In this section, the parent chooses
what he or she wants their desired
username and password to be.
Passwords must be at least
6 characters long.





Childrens information goes here
in the lower section.
Use the Access ID and Password
from the letter you received.
Passwords are case sensitive and
MUST be entered exactly as they
appear on the letter you received.
If you need a new letter, you may
request one by calling:
434-245-2943.


5. If you have successfully completed the above steps,
You will see this screen.

You can now use your new Username and
Password to log into the Parent Portal at:
https://sis.ccs.k12.va.us
