1. PURPOSE

To manage the development and maintenance of a robust and responsive policy framework that
aligns the Universitys practices with its strategic objectives.
2. POLICY STATEMENT

The Policy Framework consists of policies and procedures. Procedures (broad methods to be
employed in implementing a policy) will be consistent with and will support policies (principles that
direct decision-making).
3. RESPONSIBILITY FOR IMPLEMENTATION AND COMPLIANCE MONITORING

These management positions are responsible for implementation and compliance monitoring of the
policy in their work areas:
