Code Corner Drainage The following shall be required: IBC 2003 Appendix J 108.1 Drainage Dimensions. Also see City of St George Site Improvement Requirements (pre-building permit issuance) in the building permit packet. Cut and fill slopes shall also comply with St George City Code, Title 10; Chapter 18; Section 2 Interior Lot Requirements * C. Where a fence, wall or retaining wall is located along an interior property line separating two (2) residential lots and there is a difference in grade of the two (2) properties, the maximum height of the fence, wall or retaining wall shall not exceed six feet (6') above grade on either side of the fence, wall or retaining wall, unless either: 1) the property owners adjoining the fence, wall or retaining wall agree in writing to a greater height; ... In no case shall the fence, wall or retaining wall, or combination of a fence on top of a retaining wall exceed ten feet (10') in height unless first approved by the planning commission. Retaining walls over six feet (6') tall should be stepped to form benches which can be landscaped.
