This document provides trial and race recommendations for four horses competing on June 28th and 29th. It notes that What A Hoot had an impressive trial at Flemington and could place each way despite a poor draw. Assassinate is expected to run on late and potentially win despite drawing wide at Kembla. Grane had a professional trial at Sale and looks up to city class racing. Jersey Whistler placed first up previously and should perform well again despite being more of a saver bet.

SATURDAY, 28 JUNE 2014 What A Hoot - Flemington R1 No.3 (1410m): 2yo mid prep trial super impressive beating older horse here under little riding, draw hurts my confidence but Rodd sticking from the trial brings it back up again. Happy to be on each way.
Assassinate - Kembla R6 No.7 (1200m): Ran on super under moderate pressure looks well up to a BM-60-70, draw wide again here like first up, will be running on late & has the class to win it.
SUNDAY, 29 JUNE 2014 Grane - Sale R4 No.3 (1208m): Really professional on pace trial here, looks up to city class this should just be a stepping stone.
Jersey Whistler - Sale R4 No.4 (1208m): Never fully stoked up behind city class Nautical, won for us first up at juicy odds, looks more of a saver here but should go well again.
