ADJUSTING TO

COLLEGE LIFE
When students are in school,
college seems like a distant
cloud. Most of the students are
scared about going to college.
They feel like they are going to
an unknown place where they
don't know anyone. But after all
college
is not
that
bad.
First of
all, the

adjustment to college isn't that
rough. nce we are in the
college we reali!e that the other
students are just as ner"ous as
we are. The fellow classmates
are just as an#ious to meet
people, so as long as you make
the effort, you'll be surprised as
to how many people you meet.
Meeting people was not so
hard, since $hrist %ni"ersity
offered many social e"ents at
the beginning of the semester.
Basically, college classes are
not much more difficult than
high school classes. The only
major difference is that much of
the work for classes is done out
of the classroom.. &f you keep
up with your work, then
students should ha"e no
problem getting
a B or an ' grade.
$ollege is also great because it
lets you be oursel"es. To be
perfectly honest.
(eople at college can be a bit
odd, but the di"ersity of college
life allows you to e#press
yourself the way that you really
want. This can be a great way
for people to find out who they
really are in an en"ironment
that encourages people's beliefs,
thoughts, religions, "alues and
life styles.
$ollege life is our first taste of
pure freedom in a person's life. .
The one thing that students need
to do is learn to balance that
new found freedom with the
wisdom. ne should be careful
with what one e#periments and
learns. ne should learn to
balance studying and your
sociali!ing. &t's really easy to
keep putting that )* page
assignment
off in order to
go out with
your friends,
but you will
find yourself
up until +am
hitting
yourself
because you
still ha"en't
collected any
information
yet.
,our years of
higher
education can
be the best
time of our
life if we
only make
the most of it.
Things always ha"e a way of
working out in the end.
