67 Bring your edited research paper to class to be checked.
Have an older, more experienced person proofread it for you
and sign it. Also bring at least one diagram or illustration to
include in your final research paper. Be sure to record the
source of the illustration so it can be footnoted. Remember
that the completed final copy of your research paper is due
in L70 to be proofread in class and in L73 to be collected for
grading
68 Bring colored pencils to class in the next lesson. Work on
the final copy of your research paper. Bring the final copy of
the following pages to class to be checked in the next
lesson: title page, table of contents, outline, selected
bibliography, and grading page. Remember that the
completed final copy, including the body, is due in L70 to be
proofread in class. The completed final copy will be
collected in L73
69 Work on the final copy of your research paper. Bring your
completed final copy to class to be proofread in the next
lesson. You do not need to bring your decorated folder to be
checked but do bring all items that go inside your folder
including the body and the items that were checked today.
Correct any errors that you have made on the items that
were checked today. Remember that the completed final
copy of your research paper, including the decorated folder,
will be collected for grading in L73
70 Make corrections on the final copy of your research paper
and begin decorating your folder. Remember that your
completed research paper (in a decorated folder) will be
collected for grading in L73. Read health pp. 162-166.
Answer questions 12-18
71 Continue to make corrections on the final copy of your
research paper. Remember to follow the checklist on A
Science Project pp. 15-16. Also remember that you will need
a 3-pronged theme folder to put the final copy of the
research paper in. Continue decorating and preparing your
folder as described in A Science Project p. 15. The research
paper will be collected in L73. Read health pp. 170-176.
Answer questions 24-31
72 Complete the final copy of your research paper, including
the decorated folder and have it in class ready to be
collected for grading
73 Read A Science Project pp. 22-27. Begin diligently working
on the investigation for your science project. Remember to
record your work in your science project journal. The second
science project journal check will be in L77. Your journal
should have 5 entries at that time. (This includes the 3
entries that were checked in L65, plus 2 new entries.)

74 Read health text pp. 183-188. Answer questions 37-44. Now

that your know the lesson when your science project oral
presentation is, make sure to tell your parents and let them
help you plan to get everything done in time. Remember that
oral presentations begin in L93 and continue for 3 lessons.
On the day of your oral presentations, you will bring your
completed science project exhibit to class and explain what
you did in your investigation. You will want to finish your
investigation at least 7 lessons before the day of your oral
presentation so that you will have time to put the final
touches on your exhibit and prepare your oral presentation.
The second science project journal check is in L77. Have at
least 5 entries.
