INSTALLING OPERATING SYSTEM IMAGES
USING WINDOWS
I nsert the SD card i nto your SD card reader and check whi ch
dri ve l etter was assi gned. You can easi l y see the dri ve l etter (for
exampl e G: ) by l ooki ng i n the l eft col umn of Wi ndows Expl orer.
You can use the SD Card sl ot (i f you have one) or a cheap SD
adaptor i n a USB port.
Downl oad the Wi n32Di skI mager uti l i ty (i t i s al so a zi p fi l e); you
can run thi s from a USB dri ve.
Extract the executabl e from the zi p fi l e and run the
Wi n32Di s kI mager uti l i ty; you may need to run the uti l i ty as
admi ni strator. Ri ght-cl i ck on the fi l e, and sel ect Run as
admi ni strator.
Sel ect the i mage fi l e you extracted above.
Sel ect the dri ve l etter of the SD card i n the devi ce box. Be careful
to sel ect the correct dri ve; i f you get the wrong one you can
destroy your data on the computer's hard di sk! If you are usi ng
an SD card sl ot i n your computer and can't see the dri ve i n the
Wi n32Di skI mager wi ndow, try usi ng a cheap SD adaptor i n a USB
port.
Cl i ck Wr i t e and wai t for the wri te to compl ete.
Exi t the i mager and eject the SD card.
