Digital Storytelling is the practice of using computer-
based tools to tell stories. As with traditional
storytelling, most digital stories focus on a specific
topic and contain a particular point of view. However,
as the name implies, digital stories usually contain
some mixture of computer-based images, text,
recorded audio narration, video clips and music.
Digital stories can vary in length, but
most of the stories used in education
typically last between two and ten
minutes. The topics that are used in
Digital Storytelling range from personal
tales to the recounting of historical
events, from exploring life in one's own
community to the search for life in other
corners of the universe, and literally,
everything in between.

When students create a movie or
interactive slide show to tell their
story, learning becomes personal.
Students can improve their writing,
show creativity, and have a voice.

Today , we would like to share with
all of you how we create this Digital
Story Telling using Power Point
format.
First of all we need to write a
storyboard for the Digital Story
Telling. From there it is easy for
us to organise our work.

First of all download all the pictures and sound from
the internet. We can also insert the sound and picture
from the clipart. Also download the songs from
youtube for the singing session.

We also record the narrator, using sound from
media clips and insert it in the slide. We chose
our friend Khalida as the narrator.
