Speaker: Mr. Wong Kum Chuen- Technical Consultant of the Castco Testing
Centre Ltd. Mr. Wong is also a Senior Certified Welding Inspector of
American Welding Society with holding Certified Ultrasonic Tester,
Level II (SNT-TC-1A-2006).


Programme Highlights

Use of stainless steels becomes more popular in various industrial sectors and
thus welding of stainless steels plays a crucial role during fabrication process.
To cope with the demand, the module aims to provide professional knowledge on
welding of stainless steels. These include classification and characteristics of
stainless steels, effects of alloying elements, classification, weldability and
consequence of welding.
