2014 Summerfest is scheduled for July 25
th
, 26
th
and 27th. Lafayette High Schools upcoming junior class
will be sponsoring a parade during Summerfest and would like to invite you to join in the fun and
excitement! The parade will be held on Saturday, July 26
th
at 11 am (rain or shine).

Sign in for the parade will begin at 9:30 am, on July 26
th
on the corner of 3
rd
Street and St. Marys Avenue
in Red Lake Falls. From this starting point, the parade will travel to 4
th
Street and head east until
Champagne Avenue. It will then head south on Champagne, until it reaches its end point at the corner
of Champagne Avenue and International Drive.

We are asking for a $10 parade entry fee, which will be a donation for the Junior Class. Money raised
will go toward their prom and post-prom fundraising efforts. This entry fee is a suggested donation;
however no parade entry will be turned down. All paid parade participants are eligible for the following
cash prizes: $50 grand prize and two $25 prizes for second and third.

Please return the bottom portion of this entry letter, by July 23, 2014, to: Lafayette High School,

***In accordance with City Code, candy and other items shall not be distributed from floats,
vehicles, or other objects taking part in the parade. Candy and other items may be distributed
by individuals walking along the parade route, near the street curb and away from that part of
the street over which the parade is traveling.***
