National Select 7on7 Championship Series

Foley, AL The Gulf Coast Regional Qualifier for the National Select 7on7
Championship Series will take place July 10-11 in Foley, AL. The Gulf Coast is
known for its outstanding high school football and top recruits, making this
qualifier an exciting event full of great competition.
The tournament will begin on July 10 at Foley High School. Pool play will take
place between the 16 teams competing in the qualifier. Bracket play,
consisting of a winner and loser bracket, will take place the following day,
July 11, with a champion being announced that afternoon.
The teams participating in the Gulf Coast Regional Qualifier are: Blount,
Landry Walker, Mandeville, McGill-Toolen Catholic, Niceville , Pensacola
Catholic, Tate, Williamson, Baldwin County, Carver-Montgomery, Daphne,
Davidson, Gadsden City, Mary G. Montgomery, Pace, and Priceville.
The Gulf Coast Regional Qualifier is always filled with great competition and
the winner of the Gulf Coast Regional Qualifier always does well in the
National Championships, said Foley Head Coach Todd Watson. We have a
have range of teams coming to this qualifier that are always extremely
competitive. The Gulf Coast Regional Qualifier has always been a competitive
event and we expect the same this year.
The Gulf Coast Regional Qualifier is one of the 10 National Select 7on7
Qualifiying Tournaments to be held this summer. The winner from each
tournament qualifies to play in the National Select 7on7 Championships in
Hoover, AL July 17-19.
