Stage 3 Semester 2 Project

State and Federal Government

This term you will complete a project comprised of activities of your choice. You must select at least 5 activities from the
matrix:
at least 1 activity from the Knowing category,
at least 1 from the Understanding category and
at least 1 from the Applying category.
at least 2 from the Analysing, Creating or Evaluating categories.
You may decide on the best form of presentation of your activities. This may be hand-written, project book, display
book, digital, performance, artwork, diorama or any other form of presentation. You should ensure that each activity
you complete produces a product your teacher can refer to later when marking. E.g. if you decide to produce a skit, it
should be filmed or the script submitted.
Projects are due on TUESDAYS.

Term 3, Week 1
Decide on a form of presentation.
Produce a written plan detailing the activities you will complete. Explain why you have chosen each activity.
Remember that it is just a plan. You can change your mind later on if necessary.
Make a title page and cover.
Term 3, Week 3
Submit your activity from the Knowing category.
Term 3, Week 5
Submit your activity from the Understanding category.
Term 3, Week 7
Submit your activity from the Applying category.
Term 3, Week 9
Submit your first activity from Analysing, Creating or Evaluating categories.
Term 4, Week 1
Submit your second activity from the Analysing, Creating or Evaluating categories.
Term 4, Week 3
Evaluate your performance in each activity. Reflect on what you learned from
each task.
Refer back to your plan. Did you make any changes? Why? What were they?
If you could do the assignment all over again, what would you do differently?
