Stage 2 Homework Term 2

Each term students will be given a project to complete based on a unit of work covered in class. The
project for Term 2 is based on the Science topic Melting Moments. These projects are designed to
increase your childs engagement levels, help encourage self-directed learning, and to help develop
the skills necessary to be successful 21
st
Century learners.
In Week 2, students will also need to prepare a 2-3min speech in preparation for the Multicultural
Perspectives Public Speaking Competition. In addition, the following activities should also be done
each week:
Readingyou must read for a minimum of 15 minutes each day.
Maths you must practise 2 sets of times tables each week.
Homework sheets should be handed in each Friday and this will be marked during class time.
