The Youth Association for Action & Research (YAAR) organized the 'Youth Inter College Festival 2009' to provide a platform for youth development in arts and culture. The 4 day event was held across four departments and included events at the NTTF College in Pune on the first day. On November 26, 2009 the second day's events were held at the Dnyangangotri College in Karad. The festival focused on AIDS awareness and was inaugurated by the college principal Dr. Bhausaheb Panday. Loksevak College won the first prize while Suyog College secured second position.
