Follow the Leader

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and
confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.
When we worship or praise the Lord we need to follow the
leader.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving. Psalm 95:2
Jesus and His disciples were going into Jerusalem. He told the
disciples where they could fnd a young donkey for Him to
ride. Many people saw Jesus coming. They wanted to honor
Him. Adults and children began to spread their clothes and
branches from trees onto the road where Jesus was riding. The
people shouted to Jesus, Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed
is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the
highest!
God,
We worship and praise You with our whole heart. I want
to know You by reading Your Word, listening to You, going
to church, and being willing to forgive others. Thank You
for good teachers and help me to choose good friends.
Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with
me and I will live a long life on the earth. Bless Pastor
Ron and his family with strength and grace. Help me to
look for ways to bless others. Thank you that because of
Jesus, I am healed and whole.
