Small toiletry bag

This project is made in tapestry crochet technique in the back loops only, and with an extra effect. A
thread of the coral yarn is sewn under the front loops on the orange squares. Besides two matching
yarns you will need a 18 centimeter long zipper for this project.

1. Chain 90 with color 1 (coral) and join to a ring with a sl st. Sc 9 and change color to color 2
(orange) when you finish the 9th sc. Sc 9 and change color back to coral. Continue around
changing color every 9th sc (9*10 =90).
2. Sc 7 rounds the same way, but do not make the last color change in the 7th round.
3. Make another row of squares starting with the opposite color. Continue with orange and sc
9. Change color to coral and sc 9. Continue around changing color every 9th sc.
4. Sc 7 rounds. Do not make the last color change in the 7th round.
5. Sc a third row of squares the same way.
6. Sl st around with coral and bind off.

7. Decorate the orange squares with
coral yarn according to the picture by
sewing under the front loops, up and
down.

8. Lay the bag flat and sl st 45 along the starting row through both sides to close the bottom.
9. Sew on a zipper in the upper edge.
