For to Us will be their Return; Then it will be for Us to call them to

account.

(The Overwhelming)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

١ ِ ََِْ ‫ ا‬
ُ َِ ‫ك‬
َ َ‫هَْ َأ‬
1. Has the story reached thee, of the Overwhelming (Event)?

٢ ٌََِ ٍ َِْ َ ٌ! ُ"‫ُو‬

2. Some faces, that Day, will be humiliated,

٣ ٌَ%ِ&'( ٌَ)َِ*

3. Laboring (hard), weary --

٤ ً ََِ ‫ (َرًا‬.َ)ْ/َ

4. The while they enter the Blazing Fire --

٥ ٍ َِ(1 2
ٍ َْ* ْ2ِ .َ3ْ4ُ
5. The while they are given, to drink, of a boiling hot spring.

٦ 6ٍ ِ7َ8 2ِ ' ‫> َ=ُ<ْ ;ََمٌ ِإ‬

َ ْ'
6. No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari

٧ ‫ع‬
ٍ ُ" 2ِ AِBُْ َ ‫ َو‬2
ُ ِCْ4ُ َ
7. Which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger.

٨ ٌَCِ*'( ٍ َِْ َ ٌ! ُ"‫ُو‬

8. (Other) faces that Day will be joyful.

٩ ٌَِ8‫َِْ=َ رَا‬4ِ

9. Pleased with their Striving --

١٠ ٍ َِ َ* ٍ 'Bَ" AِG

10. In a Garden on high,
 ١١ ً َِIَ َ=ِG 6ُ َCْ4َ '
11. Where they shall hear no (word) of vanity:

١٢ ٌَ‫ٌ "َ ِر‬2َْ* َ=ِG

12. Therein will be a bubbling spring:

١٣ ٌَ* ُGْ7' ٌ‫ر‬7ُ ُ‫ِ=َ ﺱ‬G

13. Therein will be Thrones (of dignity), raised on high.

١٤ ٌَ* ُ8ْ ' ٌ‫َوَأآْ َاب‬

14. Goblets placed (ready).

١٥ ٌَG ُMْ/َ ‫ق‬

ُ ‫َ ِر‬Cَ(‫َو‬
15. And Cushions set in rows,

١٦ ٌَO ُPْ%َ A

Q ِ‫َو َزرَاﺏ‬
16. And rich carpets (All) spread out.

١٧ ْTَ3ِ)ُ U
َ َْ‫ﺏِ ِ آ‬Vِ ْ ‫ ا‬.َ ‫ن ِإ‬
َ ‫ُو‬7ُXBَ َ)َG‫َأ‬
17. Do they not look at the Camels, how they are made? --

١٨ ْTَِG‫ ُر‬U

َ َْ‫َء آ‬C'4 ‫ ا‬.َ ‫َوِإ‬
18. And at the Sky, how it is raised high? --

١٩ ْTَ%ِ/ُ( U
َ َْ‫َ ِل آ‬%ِ[ْ ‫ ا‬.َ ‫َوِإ‬
19. And at the Mountains, How they are fixed firm? --

٢٠ ْTَ\ِ]ُ‫ ﺱ‬U

َ َْ‫ض آ‬
ِ ْ‫ ا ْ_َر‬.َ ‫َوِإ‬
20. And at the Earth, how it is spread out?

٢١ ٌ7‫ َُ̀آ‬T

َ (َ‫َ أ‬C'(‫ْ ِإ‬7‫ََ̀آ‬G
21. Therefore do thou give admonition,
for thou art one to admonish.

٢٢ 7ٍ ِ]َْ/ُCِ‫ *َ)َْ=ِ< ﺏ‬T

َ ْ4'
22. Thou art not one to manage (men's) affairs.

٢٣ 7َ َMَ‫ َوآ‬.' َ َ 2َ ' ‫ِإ‬

23. But if any turn away and reject Allah --

٢٤ 7َ َ%ْ‫ب ا ْ_َآ‬

َ ‫ ا ََْا‬aُ ') ‫ ا‬aُ ُ‫ََُ `ﺏ‬G
24. Allah will punish him with a mighty Punishment.

 ٢٥ ْ<ُ=َ‫َ ِإَﺏ‬Bَْ ‫ن ِإ‬
' ‫ِإ‬
25. For to Us will be their Return;

٢٦ ْ<ُ=َ‫َﺏ‬4ِ َBَْ)َ* ‫ن‬

' ‫ُ '< ِإ‬O
26. Then it will be for Us to call them to account.
