LA Scoring Strings End User License Agreement

The following information represents the contractual conditions for the use of the LA Scoring Strings sound
library developed by Andrew Keresztes Inc.(hereinafter called wner! by you" the final user (hereinafter called
the Licensee!.
#y installing the software on your computer and$or by registration" you are declaring yourself to be in agreement
with the contractual conditions" so please read the following te%t carefully.
This agreement is in addition to the &ative Instruments License Agreement that you agree to when installing
and$or registering the software. If any part of LA Scoring Strings' (nd )ser License Agreement or &ative
Instruments' (nd )ser Agreement shall be invalid or unenforceable" it shall not affect the validity of the balance
of either the LA Scoring Strings (nd )ser License Agreement or &ative Instruments' (nd )ser License
Agreement.
*. The LA Scoring Strings sound library" sound recordings" patch programming and any related scripts
remain the property and intellectual property of the wner. The samples and patches are licensed" not
sold to the Licensee.
+. A right to use the LA Scoring Strings sound samples is granted to the Licensee and is &T transferable
under any circumstances without the e%press written consent by wner.
,. The Licensee must ensure that no third party or any of his own employees will have access to the
licensed software or sound samples" may copy part or all of the licensed software or sound samples" or
be given any opportunity to do so. The Licensee bears legal liability towards wner for any loss or
damage - including any subse.uent losses incurred by wner- resulting from the Licensee not /eeping
the LA Scoring Strings and associated programs for e%clusive use" or not doing so with sufficient
assiduity.
0. This license e%pressly forbids resale" relicensing" or other distribution in whole or in part of these sound
samples and software" or any modification thereof throughout the universe. The Licensee cannot assign"
lease" lend" rent" upload or download to or from any database or server" or transfer any or all of the
sound samples and software to another user" or use them in any competitive product.
1. The Licensee may use the LA Scoring Strings sounds for commercial and non-commercial purposes
within musical compositions only.
2. )se of the sound samples in isolation such as" but not limited to" video game soundtrac/s" gaming
machines" toys (where they appear in isolation or as sound effects! is not permitted without first
obtaining a separate written License sub3ect to wner's discretion.
4. &56 (&ot 5or 6esale! products 7 &otwithstanding other sections of this License Agreement" any
products by wner" labeled or otherwise provided to you as a &56 (&ot 5or 6esale! copy" may only be
used for demonstration" testing and evaluation purposes and may neither be resold or transferred" nor
used as a product which .ualifies you to update or upgrade offers.
8. wner assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to Licensee's hardware or software from use of
LA Scoring Strings. The Licensee assumes all responsibility and ris/ in using LA Scoring Strings and its
associated software.
9ith the purchase of this sound library the Licensee has ac.uired a single license that allows you to install LA
Scoring Strings on two (+! computers. :ou may ma/e one copy of this ;< $ <=< for bac/up purposes only. Any
other use in whole or in parts (giving" trading" lending" renting" re-issuing" re-distribution or re-sale of this product
or any of the contained samples! is e%pressly prohibited" without the prior written permission of wner.
This license will terminate automatically without notice by wner if Licensee fails to comply with any provision of
this license. )pon termination Licensee shall destroy all copies of the samples" ensembles" instruments" presets
or other contents of the sound library $ sound libraries at Licensee's e%pense and will send a written confirmation
of such action.

Any dispute or litigation that results from this agreement shall be sub3ect to the laws of the State of ;alifornia
and the )nited States of America.
