The Fate of Hate Project Reacts to New Indictments in Anderson Case 3 years after, this is a case where EVERYONE lost. There are no winners and thats the fate of hate
Jackson, July17, 2014 /- (TFH) The Fate of Hate Project is grateful for what seems to be justice at a snails pace in the Murder of James Craig Anderson.
Wednesday Sarah Graves, Shelby Richards, Robert Rice, and John Blaylack faced a judge in US District court in Jackson. The 4 are accused of participating in a larger group who targeted African-American men by throwing beer bottles at them and using a slingshot loaded with ball bearings to harm them.
"The people closest to this case were waiting and keeping hope for what seemed to be an eternity for ALL including the females in this case to see justice and we share their sigh of relief says TFH Project Curator Eric Walker.
TFH along with local lawmakers hope to announce a brand new law turning up the heat on those who commit hate crimes in the area. When announced, it will be the first of its kind in the country.
TFH started over a year ago to create a more progressive society while inspiring love in the community. Based in Jackson, our mission is building America through conversations with those who are different.
3 years after, this is a case where EVERYONE lost. From Craigs family to the suspects--their familiestax payerseveryone. When we choose hate over love, there are no winners and thats the fate of hate says Walker.
TFH is inspired by James Craig Anderson Murder. Since launching, through partnerships TFH has held unity concerts, most recently at the Mississippi coliseum with funk legend George Clinton. Other big names who have collaborated with TFH include NFL stars Devin Hester, Anquan Boldin and Jacksons own actor/producer David Banner.
