Anwar was having a summer vacation these days. He was having small sessions at Wadia School where
he was being taught activities like origami etc. I also decided that continuing with the academic stuff and
it would be great if I can tech him something by interactive movies.
This time around I decided to show him another movie (English) Kung Fu Panda. This movie was
chosen because of the valuable learnings it provides, not only to young and prosperous minds but to
other individuals as well. The learning from the movie were on the likes of friendship, loyalty and belief
in one self. The scene where Po (The Panda) realizes that the dragon scroll is actually blank and no
special script mentioned in it, was actually very important aspect of the movie where true learning is
based on. At this point Anwar (my mentee) was actually taken aback and was shocked, he actually
expected something really important written in the dragon scroll but then he realized that it is self-
belief which is the golden mantra. It is self-belief which will help him go miles was the final takeaway
that Anwar realized that day.
Post the movie he showed me some of the origami stuff that he had made during the wadia school
classes and I appreciated him for the work.
