Needs Assessment
1. Employees lack experience in transporting visitors on a trolley
safely.

2. The use of trolleys for transportation is rare, therefore; employees
need to learn how to transport visitors on a trolley safely.

3. Employees to learn trolley transportation safety skills.

4. Trolleys are not a common use of transportation and employees
lack the skills to transport visitors safely, thus; employees are
placing visitors at risk.

5. Offer the courses to educate the employees that need the skills.

using a trolley.

Learner Characteristics

A large organization with 1,000 plus diverse employees have a need of
learning to use a trolley. Most employees need skills in using a trolley to
commute visitors. The employees are face to face learners to where
they are learning skills from an instructor through various activities.

This course is instructed in the classroom and in the field. The
classroom will provide employees with the correct procedures
to drive a trolley the field will allow employees to practice the
procedures.

Employees are in the workplace learning from a classroom type
setting and in the field.

Employees will learn to operate a trolley by watching videos
and then will be given demonstrations on how to operate the
trolley and then given the opportunity to practice hands on
with an actual trolley.

Delivery Modality


Delivery of this course would be an instructor-led, with
synchronous, and video tape instruction.

Instructional Strategies

Given that this is an instructor-learner course, the
instructional matter will be completed in steps, first with
the elemental perceptive of the trolley to drive from point
A to point B and to make an emergency stop.

Trainer led learners to hands on activities relating the
trolley.

Trainers show of the necessary trolley and learner will
partake in subsequent the show of driving from point A to
point B and making an emergency stop.

Plan for Implementation

The timeline for the course is 15 hours over the duration of one
week. The course will be partially in a classroom setting with the
remaining hours being in the field at work. The learners will meet
for five hours, three times a week for one week.

Learners must meet in the classroom and in the field to review
video tape and instructor led material.

Trainer will be prepared with basic knowledge of a trolley.
Classroom instruction will include video instruction and field based
training will provide hands on instruction with a trolley. Employees
will show up for both classroom and field instruction wearing
required employee uniforms.

Resources
Employees of the organization.
The resources needed is a classroom and a trolley for in field
instruction.


Instructional time
The course will be held on the first week on training for trolley
transportation employees. The course will meet for five hours for
three days a week for one week in the classroom and in the field.

Participants
For the organization, for those employees that will transporting visitors.

utilizing both models of evaluation strategies it is hopeful to
gain the necessary information needed to evaluate the
training.
