Re: Recommendation for Jane Doe

I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Jane Doe for the Training and
Evaluation position.

I have known Ms. Doe since 2006, when she hired me as a teacher for the After School Program at
Kennedy Elementary School in Jacksonville, Florida. I worked closely there with Ms. Doe for seven
years during her tenure as Project Manager, and grew to respect her devotion to both her students
and staff.

Ms. Doe went above and beyond in her efforts to enrich the lives of her students, supplementing
the academic components of her program with activities such as ballroom dancing, etiquette
classes, and the Orchestra Strings program, whereby violins and lessons by members of the local
symphony were provided to her students, many of whom went on to play with accomplishment.

Able to strike a balance between being a member of a team and its leader, Ms. Does style of
training set clear standards and expectations for her staff, providing autonomy where appropriate
and direction when needed. She has strong people skills and developed a reputation as someone
who listens to and respects other voices and opinions, making her well-equipped to navigate
conflict and change. These qualities give her the ability to bring different types of people together
to form a team, providing support for each other while focusing on getting the job done.

Ms. Doe is a person of high integrity, and I recommend her without reservation for the Training
