Welcome to Harmony Elementary School Home of the Hawks!

Harmony Elementary School values all students as individuals with unique intellectual, physical, social
and emotional needs. Harmony Elementary School is a place that is committed and engaged in providing
teaching and learning through cooperation. Harmony Elementary school is a First Class School with First
Class Students who are led by a First Class Staff residing in a First Class Community.

Our mission is to ensure that all students are provided a challenging and equitable educational
experience. We embrace diversity and accept individual differences. All faculty and staff are committed
to the use of scientifically researched based strategies (Learning Focused Schools, IRead, System 44,
Read 180 and Rigby Guided Reading) that promote active student engagement and maintain a focus on
depth of understanding.

Parental involvement is an essential ingredient in creating a successful learning environment. There are
many ways in which you can become an active parent in our school. Attending our Title I Annual
Meeting and joining PTO are just a few. I encourage all parents to become actively involved in their
childs education and school community. My door, as well as the doors of my staff, is always open to
you and I look forward to working with you during the course of the school year.
