In regards to the points I would put first as a point as with most things you have to have a
mission, such as a mission statement so the first would be create and publish to all students a
statement of the aims and purposes of the University or College. The leadership within must
demonstrate consistently and at all times that they are committed to this statement. This is a
major point for the fact that they explain to all what their aim is for the students that are selected
to attend the University. This can be used in a wide variety of places. Companies, Corporations,
Government as well as individuals such as myself can use a mission statement to try and get
across the point that they are trying to make or get others to understand.





















Next I would look at improve constantly and forever within the last few years there has been so
many new developments within the academic world. Just a few years ago I thought that the only
way for me to get my degree was to go to a traditional campus and spend many hours in lecture
halls. If one supports their family, one doesnt have a lot of extra time to spend. The new ways
that we are learning can someday lead to individuals in very remote locations to attend online
lectures and actually participate in classroom discussions live. Look at remote teleconferences, I
just sat in on one today, we conferences with our corporate office and the team that is updating
our time keeping capabilities within our facility. This proves that the ways in which we learn
have drastically changed and if we all have the ability to use it than we all have the ability to
improve not only our world but the world of those around us.
Optimize the Efforts of Teams would be my next choice and in this regard I feel that in this brief
statement lies the base for what we are actually doing right now. We in this class participate
through our discussion and make comments to one another in thus we have a team that helps us
optimize our efforts by giving us different perspectives on the topic of our discussions. By
having the ability to do this it doesnt put a limit on our growth. This is by far one of the main
reasons why I have enjoyed this type of class. I have the ability to say something and usually
someone in the class has another viewpoint on it and they can let me know what they think of
whatever the topic happens to be
Last but by far not the least in my mind would be Encourage Education and Self-Improvement.
If it werent for all of us having something that drove us to enroll, job, family, sense of self-
worth, whatever the reason we all have to admit that since we have been taking classes we are
constantly encouraging others to seek more education, if not to help others but to at least help
themselves. This by far is one of the best ways to encourage our children to stay in school and to
obtain some type of higher education. I know my daughters are always telling me that one
reason why they have been studying so hard is because I am leading by example. If this old dog
can do it so can these young pups of this day and age.
