Veterans Will Have a Place They Can Call Home
Jacksonville,Fla.- Feb. 22, 2014- O n December 2014, a veteran housing community,
will be open to all veterans who are making transitions from battleground to home ground.
This $3.4 million C.B. Dailey Villas will be constructed in the heart of Jacksonville in the

According to Chris Labine, a military veteran, veterans can sometimes have a hard time
transitioning from military life to civilian life.
Without structure of the military, its difficult to maintain your own life. People in the
military are used to getting orders. When theyre not receiving orders, they are lost.
According to Wealth Watchers official Facebook page, The facility will provide 24
permanent homes for veterans, providing units with one bedroom and one bathroom. Other
amenities will include such as Wi-fi, fenced parking, community parks, a community room and
full-functioning appliance.

This housing will be built under the influence of Rev. Dr. Charles B. Dailey who was
born Aug. 9, 1927 and passed on Dec. 22, 2004. He served as the pastor of the First Baptist
Church in Oakland for 47 year. According to the First Baptist Church in Oaklands website,
under his influence, Dailey and his church created the first African-American credit union in the
Southeast.
According to Wealth Watchers official Facebook, Dailey also developed housing for
senior citizens and new single family residents, building more than 23 houses on the Eastside
helping low and moderate income families. He will always be remembered for what he
contributed to the community, and his legacy will live on through the C.B Dailey Villas.
