Final Year Projects (FYP)

Final Year Project Proposals Batch 2006

Students of final year batch 2006 are informed that the last date for the submission of
final year project proposals is February 10, 2009. We have three project categories; Artificial
Intelligence, Hardware/Interfacing and Network/Computer Systems. All proposals will be
submitted to Mr. Naseem.

Students must form their group. Maximum 5 members are allowed in a group. Group can
either prepare their own proposal, discuss it with faculty members or a faculty member can
provide a proposal to a group. Internal advisors will be appointed by the final year project
committee.

Hardware interfacing with artificial intelligence by using sensors or by image processing

and Robotics proposals will high appreciated. Only Database/Software/Web Applications
proposals will be rejected.

Project proposal format is available on the final year projects web site,
(www.ssuet.edu.pk/~fyp or from http://sites.google.com/site/fypcedssuet/). Registration and
proposal submission forms are also available on the web site and will also be submitted with
the proposal. All documents will be submitted in black small box file.

After the submission process a short interview will be conducted by the FYPC with each
group for the evaluation of the submitted proposal. Interview schedule will be published on the
FYP web site. The approval or disapproval of a proposal will be decided by the FYPC at the
time of interview and only the approved proposals will be registered in the FYP database for
the year 2009. Unapproved proposals will be returned to the group with reservations.
