Procedures to teach

1. Makeup work for absence-

a. Students will learn the procedure for picking up make up work after an
absence so that there is no confusion over how to obtain makeup work in
the event you are absent from school.
2. Speaking in class-
a. Students will learn the appropriate way to speak in class so that everyone
has an opportunity to share their ideas and thoughts and no one feels left
out or unimportant and the noise level remains at an appropriate level
3. Tornado drill-
a. Students will practice tornado drills so that everyone is prepared and
knows what to do and where to go in case of a weather emergency.
4. Fire drill-
a. Students will practice fire drills so that everyone will know where to go and
what to do in the midst of the chaos of a fire.
5. When you finish early-
Students will understand what is expected of them when they finish their
class work early so that they do not become a distraction to others trying
to finish their assignments.
