Calibration procedure/Work Instruction for Stacker cum Reclaimer Beltweighers

Steps for Calibration

1. Clean the beltweigher assembly & load cell properly as per checklist.
2. Make arrangement that material should not be there on the belt.
3. Check the span correction factor, it should be 1.00. If it is not 1.00 set this by going inside the function
programme.
4. Check the belt speed if it not accurate than Calibrate Belt Speed.
4.1 Adjust the Techo constant to get the required speed.
5. Run the belt in empty condition & check fluctuation in reading & also observe the Totalizer reading for
half hour, If Totalizer reading is changes without any load than go for calibration.
6. Static Weight Calibration
6.1 Remove all weights and set to 0(Quick Keys 22321)
6.2 Apply test weights & enter test weight(Quick Keys 2232)
7. Dynamic weight Calibration(Test Weight=200Kg)
7.1 Calibrate zero with belt running
7.1.1 Run belt with no material and no test weights
7.1.2 Set to 1 to calibrate (press EDIT, 1 & ENTER) (Quick Keys 26521)
7.2 Calibrate weight
7.1.1 Apply chains or test weights & run belt
7.1.2 Set test weight type to chains or test weights (Quick Keys 26511)
7.1.3 Set calibration weight to test weight value (Quick Keys26512)
7.1.4 Set measurement method to 2 (weight) (Quick Keys 26522)
7.1.5 Set measurement on (press EDIT, 1 & ENTER), wait until measurement is completed
7.1.6 repeat the last two steps to record up to 5 tests
7.1.7 Use the 1 and 2 keys to select test result(Quick Keys 26524)
7.1.8 Calibrate: press Fn, 2 & ENTER at enter measurement(Quick Keys 26524)
8. Stop the belt, remove the test weight, Now calibration has been completed.
