ShopRite Dietitians Bringing Good Things to Your

Table

Think Back to School lunches are just for kids? Think again! Everyone can benefit
from some healthy meal planning. Whether you are brown bagging or buying, follow
the food groups for a balanced lunch. Here are a few examples from your ShopRite
dietitian team to get you started for work and the kids this school year.
Peanut butter and sliced bananas on whole wheat bread, carrot sticks with low fat
ranch dressing, and skim milk
Low sodium turkey and cheese on a spinach wrap with a thin layer of hummus,
sliced tomatoes and romaine lettuce, an apple, and low fat Greek yogurt
Vegetable garden salad with flaked tuna, whole wheat crackers, nonfat cottage
cheese and canned fruit in juice
Add a healthy beverage like water, flavored seltzer, or unsweetened iced tea
