    Cryptography is a method for encrypting and decrypting data during transmission over networks to prevent unauthorized access. It uses Dijkstra's algorithm along with a cipher mode operation to encrypt and decrypt files and folders transferred remotely using Remote Method Invocation. The project includes modules for login, file creation, encryption, and decryption. The minimum hardware requirements include a 1.3 GHz Pentium processor, 15" monitor, keyboard and mouse, 1GB RAM, and 100 Mbps Ethernet. The software requirements are Java for the front end and XML for the backend.
