LongTerm:
1. Allfinalrecommendationswillbedependentuponstudyreferredtoinshorttermmitigationact.Thisis
anextremelycomplicatedslide,andthereisevidenceofpotentialgeologicfaultsormaterialschanges
whichrequireadditionalstudy.Itisimpossibletodeterminethesolutionormakerecommendations
untilwehaveaclearunderstandingofwhatwearedealingwithandhowitmaycontinuetomove.
2. Solutionsmayinvolveremovingtheroadintheupperlocationtoallowa1:1gradeforstabilizationof
thescarp,andweshouldbepreparedtolosesomeoftheroad.
3. Finalplansshouldbetostabilizetheslidemasswithgradinganddrainagewhichwillrequirean
extensiveengineeringstudyandplan.ThisshouldnotbeundertakenwithoutCityinputastothe
appropriateperson(s)toperformthestudy.
