Dear Madam ,
I am writing this letter with regards to the Parents-Teachers Meeting scheduled on the 6th
of August,2014.
I would like to inform you that here in Whitefield, Purbita my daughter is living with me,
her mother living in Vellore due to job compulsions. My status is that of a single parent due to
the reasons mentioned above.
I am working as a Full Time ENT Consultant at the Columbia Asia Hospital situated at
Whitefield with working hours from 9am to 6 pm.
Therefore attending Parents-Teachers meeting on Wednesday will amount to foregoing my
Outpatient consultancy for a few hours during the morning time. With prior appointments
being given to patients, the management will not be happy to accept my request for leave for a
few hours.
Therefore I shall be grateful if you can excuse me for the Parents Teachers meeting on
Wednesday.
Hope you will understand my situation and convey the same to the school management for
their consideration..
