Typhoon 'Jose' enters PAR

MANILA (3RD UPDATE) - The typhoon east of Central Luzon has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility
(PAR) and was named 'Jose', state weather bureau PAGASA said Saturday night.
'Jose' was spotted 1,250 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora as of 7 p.m.
It was packing maximum sustained winds of 160 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 195
kph.
PAGASA said the typhoon is expected to move west northwest at 11 kph.
It is expected to be at 1,060 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora tomorrow afternoon, and at 940 kilometers east of
Tuguegarao City by Monday afternoon.
By Tuesday afternoon, it is expected to be at 810 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes.
PAGASA said Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, the regions of Ilocos and Cordillera, and Central Luzon
will experience occasional rains.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rains and thunderstorms.
