waste. Cut verticals with a circular saw with a melamine blade.


Smooth edges down to actual cutlines with a planer.
cut the shelves according to your custom design, using a
circular saw with a melamine blade.
Apply heat-activated veneer tape to all exposed edges for
a finished appearance.
F. INSTALLING FIXED SHELVES
1. Drill KD screws into the pre drilled holes on
verticals. Lower the top shelf into place.
2. Lock down shelf KDs over KD screws using a
screwdriver.
3. Repeat this process for each fixed shelf.
Measure 3fs" on center to first shelf-pin hole down from
the top cut edge of vertical. Align pegboard holes to first two
marks and about 1 W' from side edges of vertical. Drill two
rows of parallel holes in each vertical, using the pegboard
as a guide.

Mark KD locations on top fixed shelf, and then (inset) drill
holes for KDs. Repeat for all fixed shelves.

Lock down fixed shelves with a Phillips screwdriver. Position
the screwdriver at 25and twist clockwise until top shelf and
vertical are pulled together.
Note: For fixed shelves that align with another f7Xed
shelf on the other side of the same vertical, use a KD
screw and dowel or ("connector bolt").
4. Plumb and level the entire unit; then fasten each
fixed shelf to the wall with two steel L-brackets.
