1: Check in the hotfix folder to see if any of the updates apply to your PC, if

install it then restart then turn off your internet connection.
2: Go into the hosts setup folder and follow the instructions there to change th

hosts file, do this even if you already have an Adobe hosts block.

3: If you already had Acrobat 9 installed then start Acrobat and wait 2 minutes

go to help then deactivate and deactivate the app then restart the pc.
4: Go to Add/Remove Programes or Programes and Features and uninstall any Acroba

updates then restart, once restarted uninstall the main Acrobat 9 programe th

restart.

6: Should you get licence errors and you know your hosts is set then you can cop
y the dll
file and paste and replace the one located here;
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat
You might have to start task manager (right click the taskbar) and go to "pro
cesses" and
stop "acrotray.exe" for the dll to copy.
Dont just randomly use all the serials if you get an invalid serial issue as
99.99% of
the time your hosts will not be set or your av software has reset your hosts.

7: Before turning internet back on type;
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
into explorer or internet explorer to bring up the hosts then open it with no
tepad
and check it has all the Adobe blocks added, if not fix it.
8: Updates should be fine, if not then they will be posted on Pirate Bay as upda
te
packs.
9: Skip the adobe id, it stops asking you after a bit
