WATER DENSITY

PROBLEM/PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE:
This experiment illustrates how objects float differently in varying densities of water.
MATERIALS:
Egg
Salt
Water
Tall Glass, apx ! ounces
PROCEDURE:
1. "our hot water into glass until it is about half full.
2. Stir in lots of salt #apx ! tablespoons$.
3. %arefully pour in plain water until the glass is nearly full. &e careful to not disturb or mix
the salty water with the plain water.
4. Gently lower the egg into the water.
