there is often confusion around the chardonnay grape. many times
it is overlooked that chablis is made from 100% chardonnay grapes,
and that chardonnay can take on a myriad of tastes and characteristics
based on where in the world it comes from. during this tasting we
will explore the classic varietal and its french (chablis, meursault,
puligny montrachet, mcon), californian (napa, sonoma, alexander valley)
and new zealand expressions.
