Penile Prosthesis Infection Rates Drop To 0%

Penile implant infection rates have now plummeted to zero, thanks to the AMS 700® with
INHIBIZONE®. Recently approved by the FDA, the device made by American Medical
Systems, Inc., (AMS) is the only inflatable penile prosthesis with clinical evidence showing a
significant reduction in the rate of revision surgery due to infection. Coupled with innovative
surgical techniques, which previously boasted an infection rate of less than 1%, penile
implant procedures are now infection-proof.

The claim is based on a study of more than 40,000 patients implanted with the AMS 700
devices, which showed a significant reduction of first-time and revision infection rates. The
