PDI INFINITE RANGE VEHICLE TECHNOLOGIES BLUEPRINT
Regenerative Acceleration Generator Technology (RM) - New technology developed by PDI
allows for continuous battery recharging. Also referred to as KEGS, Kinetic Energy Generating
System, now being introduced to Formula1 teams as a KERS alternative.
Bi-Toroid Transformer (BiTT) - New technology developed by PDI acts a magnetic diode and
isolates generator or inverter from load. Currently being simulated and co-developed
with Phillips engineer in Holland.
Conical Magnetic Bearings - New technology developed by PDI is a 100% passive magnetic
bearing system currently being licensed by NASA.
Magnetically Suspended Flywheel Energy Storage System - New Technology developed
by PDI with assistance from the University of Virginia ROMAC, is a passively magnetically
levitated KERS which can also operate as a KEGS and continue to recharge the EV's batteries
even after the EV has been parked.
Regenerative Shock Absorbers - New version of existing technology developed by PDI which
employs both RM and BiTT technologies.
Regenerative Braking Technology - Existing technology.
Photovoltaic Solar Panels or Paint - Existing technology.
