Living in a shared room is a very different living experience contrary to having the privacy of
your own room.
Many students become close friends with their sharing partner and it can be an excellent way for ensuring a companion from the start of your visit. However, it also requires some compromising and compliance. The following rules will help you and we ask every student who is sharing to abide by them. - There must be absolute respect for your room-mate and their possessions.
- It is advisable to agree a clear and fair division of space within the room and to keep to it. - You need to show respect for the other persons lifestyle and beliefs e.g. sexual orientation, religious behavior, even if it differs from your own. - Daily routines and sleep patterns differ. Please liaise with your room-mate about potential disturbances to each other, e.g. guests and returning to your room late at night. 208 ROOM SHARING GUIDELINES 1 2014, Laureate Education, Inc. | Confidential & Proprietary - Overnight guests are not allowed in any rooms.
