Summer Training Guidelines to MBA III SEM & BBA V SEM Students

The objectives of Summer Training are:

1. To gain first-hand knowledge of the day-to-day operations of the organization;
2. To acquire managerial skills especially related to your area of interest and specialization;
3. To develop interpersonal relationship with key management personnel in the organization.

The fulfillment of the above objectives along with solutions provided for the problems
Identified in the organization; have to be documented in the form of a Summer Training
Report. The guidelines of Report are enclosed for your reference and record.

Faculty of Management provided faculty mentor to each student for providing all possible
help to cope with all problems pertaining to summer training.

We wish you all the best for your summer Internship and hope that it would be a wonderful
learning experience for each one of you.


Following are the Guidelines for the students:

Before going for Summer Training, all students must contact Mr. Vishavdeep Sharma /
Jagdeep Singh Arora/ Mr. Parmod Kumar Singhal and submit their Phone numbers &
e-mail ids.
They should collect their training diaries from him.
Students are required to collect e-mail ids of their summer training guides and must
mail the weekly report to them.
You are required to be in regular contact with your Guide through e-mail and seek
guidance wherever necessary.
Remember your guide is the person who is supposed to be with you throughout the
preparation of the report. Dont hesitate to bring your problems to his/her notice.
Students should submit the dummy copy of their summer training report to their
respective guides latest by 14
th
Aug., 2012.
The Summer Training Presentations will be held in the 3
rd
week of August and the
schedule for the same will be notified later.
The students should submit the final copies of Summer Training Report to their
respective guides latest by 31
st
August, 2012.
The students should prepare the report at their own and it should be an original piece
of work.

Guidelines for the Project Report Submission:

The guidelines for the Project Report structuring are mentioned hereunder and all
Students are advised to follow the same:

# Total Copies to be submitted: 2

Hard Bound
(Black Cover specifically with Letters in Golden Embossing)
All pages should be numbered:- Page Numbering Bottom Centre aligned
The title of report, Name, Roll no. of student must be in BOLD letters on the front
page.

# Paper: A-4 Size paper (One copy Bond Paper- 80 gsm)

# Margins:

Left: 1.5 Inch
Right: 1 Inch
Top: 1 Inch
Bottom: 1 Inch

# Font: Times New Roman (Only)

# Font Size:
Chapter Heading: 16
Titles: 14
Normal Text: 12

# Graphical Presentation: Graphs should be colored
# Reference No. : Each Table/ Exhibit/ Figure must be assigned a reference No.

# Line Spacing: 1.5

# Annexure to be Numbered and put in sequential manner

# Bibliography is must and should be mentioned in last in an orderly manner.
