SITUATION
Rozan is unable to concentrate on his task while
working with his peers on Language Art task. He tend
to be playful and diverts his group members attention
by being hilarious.

Approach the problem by asking the pupil neutral
questions to gain information
Ask suggestions on ways to help pupils to stay
focus on their task
Ask the pupils to list down the strengths and
weaknesses
Ask pupil to choose the best way to stay focus
Work on details on how it could be implemented
Assess whether it works for the pupil or not

The Theory
Develop after observing teachers acted assertively.
Teachers were in charge of the class and had the
right to teach without interruptions.

Focuses on creating a classroom based on the rights
and needs of both students and the teacher in the
classroom.

Climate of the classroom needs to be
calm and caring.
Behavior must be humanely changed.
This model provides:
practical strategies for successful behavior
management in a classroom led by a teacher
who builds trusting relationship with students

Simulation
Miss Campbell is entering class 3 Wajib for the first
time. She was told that this class is a mix ability
class of 8 boys and 11 girls. Thus, she needs to
set the rules and regulation in her class first
before she begins with her lesson. She also
needs to be firm but still maintain a good rapport
among pupils in order to ensure that the pupils
rights are well taken care.
