The most common frame of reference is the
Earth.
Motion is the change in position relative to
the frame of reference in a certain amount
of time.
Speed is the rate at which an object moves.

Speed = Distance

The rate of change in velocity is known as
acceleration.

Acceleration = Final velocity Original velocity

because direction is continuously changing.
An object in circular motion is accelerating
even though its speed may be constant.
Momentum is equal to the mass of an object
multiplied by its velocity

Momentum = Mass x Velocity
The total momentum of any group of objects
remains the same unless outside influences
act on the objects.
