ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The fire was extinguished by staff, using water from the sink inside the
bathroom. The fire destroyed a plastic trash container in the bathroom but did not cause any damage
to the structure. The investigation revealed an 8
th
grade juvenile female was responsible for setting
the fire while MSA testing was occurring. The juvenile has been charged with Arson of a Trash
Container, Malicious Burning 2
nd
Degree, and Disturbing the Operation of School.
