Recommendation

As stated the current cooling system is below standard. It is therefore recommended that a more
efficient cooling system be put in place to ensure a smother flow on the production line.
One such system is the Air-based Cooling system. The most efficient Air-based cooling
system is the Blast Cooling system that can be customized to meet the specific needs of the
production process. This process involves running the products through a blast system in batches
of forty eight (48) bottles. Each filling cycle consists of four (4) bottles, therefore a batch of forty
eight would be twelve (12) filling cycles.
Another solution which is cheaper and less effect than the Air-blast cooling system but is
better than the current system would be to install more nozzles into the cooling bed. This is done
by installing more PVC pipes in a cluster to that there is more water is being sprayed on the
product to help reduce the cooling time. The installation of more PVC pipes will lead to the
lowering of the water pressure the cooling bed so the installation of a more powerful water pump
would also be required.
