A Note from the Teacher
*We are starting to ease into our
Reading workshop centers this week. I
have a lot of fun and engaging activities
to explore in Reading this year.
*I am looking forward to meeting all of
the parents this Tuesday at Open House.

What Were Learning

Reading/Writing
*We will be identifying beginning letter
sounds in words as well as rhyming words
this week.
*Our sight words are and, with, he, like

Math
*We are continuing counting and word
problems with counting. Were ending
Topic 1 (counting numbers 0-12) and
there will be an assessment on Tuesday.

Science
*We are learning about the life
cycle of Monarch butterflies. We
will be watching live caterpillars
evolve into butterflies in the
classroom.
