n rezumat, pe hrtie i n format electronic. Nu sunt publicate numele i nici adresa autorilor plngerilor.
Autorul plngerii are dreptul s cear ca plngerea s rmn condenial, caz n care publicul nu are acces la plngere i nici la celelalte documente menionate
mai sus. Cu toate acestea, chiar i o plngere condenial trebuie s e trimis instituiei sau organului n cauz al Uniunii, n cazul n care Ombudsmanul ncepe o
anchet. Deciziile Ombudsmanului privind plngerile condeniale sunt publicate pe site-ul web, eliminndu-se orice informaie care ar putea duce la identicarea
autorului. Aceste informaii sunt eliminate i n cazul publicrii complete sau n rezumat, pe hrtie sau n format electronic.
Plngerile adresate Ombudsmanului pot conine date cu caracter personal referitoare la autorii acestora sau la teri. Prelucrarea datelor cu caracter personal de
ctre Ombudsmanul European este reglementat de Regulamentul (CE) nr. 45/2001(

). Cu excepia cazului n care autorul plngerii cere ca aceasta s rmn
condenial, se consider c este de acord, n sensul articolul 5 alineatul (d) din Regulamentul (CE) nr. 45/2001, ca Ombudsmanul s fac publice eventualele date
cu caracter personal coninute n plngere.
